Prior to visiting the Ames Exploration Encounter, teachers attend
a free workshop conducted by an experienced classroom teacher.
The curriculum is aligned with State and National Teaching Standards
in the areas of Math, Science, and Technology.
In addition to Science Standards, Ames Exploration Encounter incorporates
English Language Development (ELD) standards and provides English
Learners a contextualized, interactive opportunity for academic language
development.
